Magnesium is not just magnesium.

The aim of combining these three forms is to serve different channels.

The three forms of magnesium used in detail:

Magnesium Bis-Glycinate - This chelated compound has the magnesium attached to the amino acid glycine. 

Magnesium Malate - This is an organic compound of magnesium with malic acid.

Tri-Magnesium Citrate - This is an organic compound of magnesium with citric acid.
