About the zinc complex

The YPSI zinc complex combines the mineral zinc with the ionophore epigallocatechin gallate (from 50% green tea extract)

Zinc has many important functions in the body.

Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal blood testosterone levels, normal carbohydrate metabolism, normal protein synthesis, normal skin, normal hair, normal nails, normal bones, normal vision and normal metabolism of macronutrients.

Zinc also contributes to normal function of the immune system (physical defence), normal fatty acid metabolism, normal cognitive function, normal acid-base metabolism, normal fertility and normal reproduction (ability to reproduce), normal vitamin A metabolism and contribute to normal DNA synthesis.

Zinc also helps to protect cells from oxidative stress and has a role in cell division.
